This past March, Island Savings named Eclipse their preferred marketing partner. We’ve been busy ever since working on a variety of projects including launching their new brand! It’s been a very exciting few months and we’re thrilled to share some of this work with you.

This logo was designed by Dennis Boyle from Boyle Design in Vancouver.
Island Savings did their research (thanks to Cathy McIntyre at Strategic Initiatives and Corporate Insights), and spent the proper time to establish their brand and position themselves as the Islands’ local, approachable, intuitive and community-minded bank.
We knew that Island Savings cared about the community, but have been impressed by how they truly take their brand to heart. Everyone within the organization cares about their members. We can attest to this firsthand, as Jenny & Chris Marshall (owners of Eclipse Creative) recently switched both their personal and business banking to Island Savings and couldn’t be happier! Did you know that as an Island Savings member you can speak directly to their President? How cool is that?
The first Island Savings campaign in the new brand is currently underway. It’s called Waves of Kindness and it focuses on bettering our community. Talk about a good fit with their brand! From September to December, Island Savings is giving new members $50 and donating $50 to a charity of the member’s choice when they open a new chequing account. Pretty nice, right? Island Savings’ kindness doesn’t stop there. They’ve got a street team roaming around in our community for the duration of the campaign, performing random acts of kindness (AKA: “Waves of Kindness”) to brighten people’s days. Check them out!
Plus, they’re giving away $7,500 in weekly cash prizes on Facebook for fans who share their personal Waves of Kindness at wavesofkindness.ca. We’ve been keeping up with the Waves of Kindness posts online, and are constantly stunned by how inspiring and heartwarming they are! From small acts of kindness to impactful and emotional gestures, people are sending in some great feel-good stories.
It feels wonderful to be behind a campaign that has a philanthropic focus, and to work with a company that really cares about the Islands.
